Informed by a comprehensive heat analysis, investments in soil unsealing, rainwater management, evaporation and vertical greening shall reduce heat and make the project area in Villach (AT) self-sufficient. The location above an underground parking is quite challenging and shall provide insight in how to transform such areas. The public will be involved in monitoring and understanding how the temperature changes and in workshops during and after the transformation of the site. The project shall add knowledge to the climate adaptation strategy of Villach.
